This place is amazing! Dinner if the best foods I've ever had. First off, yes the line was long but it was 100% with it. They sell drinks while in line (genius) and the line moves quickly. While in line we were eyeballing everyone's food and the turkey looked amazing. Neither myself or my partner like turkey but we decided to try it and OMG it was so good. The turkey might have been better than the brisket... And the brisket was good. We also good Mac and cheese, green beans and coleslaw. The overall theme of the side game, was simple but really good. Nothing out of the ordinary or complex just really good food. The only thing we didn't love was the peach cobbler, the peaches were good but the crust is like very thick non flavorful pie crust.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I went to Austin for a softball tournament. This was my first time visiting and eating at Terry Black's BBQ! Sooooooooooo delicious! The service was quick even with a long line. Tables inside can get occupied quickly since there's so many people. It would be nice to sit outside, but it was hot and humid when I visited. Cafeteria style when you point at what food you want and they will give it to you. First my first time, I went solo and I got a little carried away and ordered a lot. I spent $135 for my meal. I had so much leftovers! I had food when I got hungry late at night in the hotel! On my last day, before heading home, I just had to come back and eat here one more time! This time, I only spend less than a hundred if food. Highly recommend all the meats especially the brisket! Delicious bbq sauces too!

An Austin staple, it's a fun experience to say you have done. It's a VERY busy place ALL THE TIME, so plan for standing in a winding line. The BBQ was solid for the amount they're churning out every day. We got a variety plate of brisket, sausage, and pork ribs with sides of rice, macaroni and cheese, and cornbread. Of all these items, my favorite was the brisket and seasoned rice. My least favorite was the cornbread. It's a mix of yellow cake mix and cornbread mix and has more of a cake texture rather than the crumbly, buttery, slightly sweet cornbread I love. Expect a loud ambiance, as it is always packed. It's not a place you come in to sit and visit; it's more get in, get out.

I kept hearing about how good Terry Black's barbecue is and also how it constantly sells out so I made sure to stop by in the morning during my trip to Austin. When I arrived, the line was wrapped around the building but it was still moving relatively quickly. The cashiers were very friendly. Inside it was packed and chaotic so I took mine to go. Outside was also packed. I ended up ordering a brisket sandwich, potato salad and cornbread and it was all SO GOOD!!! It was definitely worth the wait and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves BBQ.

Great BBQ spot. Meats were moist, tender, and hearty. Sides were alright - ordered rice and pickles. Star of the show was the brisket. Prices did feel a bit steep. Staff was also extremely friendly and fun. Overall, it is not the best place I've had but it does live up to its crowds and hype in Austin area. Only thing to consider is finding a seat can be challenging during peak times so be on the lookout and claim the turf as soon as you can, Cheers'

Wow. TB's is an experience. From start to finish. They are a well oiled machine. We arrived on Memorial Day just before 12. Line was out the door, but not wrapped around the building (yet). It was by the time we left. The line moved quick. They serve drinks outside for when the line is too long. Beer, wine, soft drinks. Order your sides first. Then pick your meat. They are known for their brisket. And it did not disappoint. It was so moist. No need for sauce. Beef ribs literally fell off the bone. They were our favorite. Mac and cheese is a must! Pickles were delicious, too. Must try when in Austin. Come hungry!!
